Continue with related educational guides and apply the ideas that fit your audience and resources.

1. Demonstrations; 2. step-by-step carousels

Use video when motion, timing, sound, or sequence is the evidence. A potter can show the hand pressure that centers clay more clearly than describe it in a caption. Use a carousel when viewers need to pause, compare, or follow a bounded sequence, such as five checks before firing a glazed piece. Give both formats a complete payoff, readable text, and an accurate boundary. A demonstration can teach observation without pretending to replace supervised practice or professional advice.

3. Stories for timely participation

Temporary story formats suit updates, quick questions, event context, and decisions that benefit from a response now. A studio can show two workshop dates, collect a preference, and publish the confirmed schedule. Treat poll responses as self-selected feedback, not representative research. Save genuinely evergreen explanations in a clearly named collection and let expired offers disappear. Because story features differ by platform, account, and region, verify the available controls instead of designing a campaign around a sticker someone may not have.

4. Live sessions for uncertainty

A live session earns its production cost when questions change the conversation. Publish the scope, host, length, and replay plan in advance; appoint someone to moderate and collect unanswered questions. A tax software company could demonstrate how to organize records while refusing personal tax advice and directing jurisdiction-specific questions to qualified professionals. Provide captions or a transcript where practical. If the material is one-way and polished, a recorded video may serve viewers better than a live event with avoidable waiting.

5. Long-form resources for durable decisions

Use an article, guide, podcast, or extended video when the audience needs context, tradeoffs, sources, and a reference they can revisit. Build shorter posts from genuine subquestions, then link to the relevant section rather than saying “learn more” without context. Measure each format by its job: helpful replies for Stories, attended questions for live sessions, saves for a checklist, or qualified destination visits for a guide. There is no universally best format, and platform distribution never guarantees engagement.
